Calling all parents and caregivers!<\/span><\/h4>

When a child is suspected of having an ASD diagnosis, many parents find themselves navigating a sea of information, from ASD assessments to intervention methods, only leaving them feeling more overwhelmed, anxious, and uncertain. Parents often encounter a confusing blend of contradictory perspectives about ASD\u2014from causes and symptoms to intervention methods and potential outcomes for children. Some hear discouraging predictions that their child may struggle to make meaningful progress, while others come across encouraging stories of children with ASD achieving remarkable outcomes.<\/p>

Although we cannot predict each child\u2019s outcome with certainty, with over 30 years of experience in ABA interventions and over 150 published studies in ASD and ABA, we have greatly expanded our understanding of the remarkable potential within children with ASD. While these children may initially exhibit significant differences compared to their peers, high-quality interventions can substantially bridge these gaps, often advancing social and language skills to levels aligned with typical development.<\/p>

On Saturday, December 14, we open our doors to give you an inside look at AP Centre. You’ll have the chance to meet our professional consultants, learn about the AP Method and how it addresses all areas of learning to maximize children’s progress during their critical developmental stages. You can also tour our facilities and see how each learning space is designed to effectively support children with ASD.     Topic: Understanding High Quality Treatment Approach – Maximizing Progress of children with ASD<\/strong><\/p>

    Conducted by our AP Behavioral Consultant, <\/a><\/span>Frederick<\/span><\/span>\u00a0Chan<\/span><\/span>\u00a0(M.Ed., M.Soc.Sc, BCBA)<\/a>, he will\u00a0<\/span>share case studies to help parents gain a deeper understanding of the high-quality intensive approach to autism , AP Method. He will also provide a comprehensive overview of the principles, applications, features, and proven efficacy of the Progressive ABA approach. This will empower parents to establish a strong learning foundation for their children with ASD, enabling them to effectively narrow the developmental gap with their peers.<\/span><\/p>

    Additionally, the didactic talk will cover effective strategies for enhancing key areas such as language communication, social skills, and learning techniques for children with autism.<\/span><\/p><\/td><\/tr>
