Progressive ABA Demonstration Workshop
A Workshop for Parents and Caregivers of Children with ASD and professionals, Providing Advanced Effective Teaching Strategies for: Language Skills, Behavior Management, and Learning Motivation
This one-day workshop is specifically designed for professionals and parents of young children with ASD, offering them expertized ASD knowledge and practical skill demonstrations that highlight how quality Progressive ABA treatment can greatly enhance their child’s skills and optimize learning progress.
The workshop is divided into two parts: a comprehensive advanced didactic session in the morning and an interactive live demonstration in the afternoon with two children with ASD.
Morning Session: Advanced Didactic Talk (9:30am - 12:00nn)
Without specialized interventions and support by trained professionals, children with ASD may quickly fall behind their neurotypical peers, resulting in a growing gap in educational and skills achievement. This gap can have significant long-term consequences, making it increasingly difficult for the child to catch up as they advance through school.
Therefore, it is crucial for parents and professionals to carefully assess each child’s unique needs and provide the tailored support required to set them up for success.
The session will provide a comprehensive overview of the core principles of the Progressive ABA and demonstrate how these principles are applied to develop individualized ABA programs aimed at strengthening each child’s foundational skills and preparing them for school readiness. Parents and professionals will learn how quality ABA treatment can effectively target crucial areas such as language development, behavior management, and learning motivation, leading to meaningful progress in these critical areas.
