Star Program

A program designed to support local families affected by autism in Qingdao

Autism Partnership (AP) is excited to collaborate with Startour on an innovative initiative to enhance public awareness and understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in Qingdao. This partnership introduces the “Star Program,” a comprehensive initiative designed to provide essential support, training, and treatment resources to families, educators, and professionals working with individuals with ASD.

By combining AP’s expertise in high-quality APM services and Startour’s extensive reach, this collaboration seeks to bridge the gap in ASD education and support for local families in Qingdao, ensuring they have access to the resources and guidance needed to help their children thrive.

Phase 1: Autism Conference – Unlock Potential of your Child with ASD: Leading the Journey to Success

On March 22 (Saturday), Startour, with the support of AP, will host an insightful Autism Conference – Unlock Potential of your Child with ASD: Leading the Journey to Success.
This event will feature a comprehensive talk with a live demonstration, providing parents and professionals with practical strategies to support children with ASD. Additionally, attendees will have access to free parent consultations and a hands-on training workshop led by experienced clinicians from AP, equipping them with valuable skills to enhance their child’s development.

Phase 2: Ongoing Support Service

As part of the Star Program, AP will provide continuous, individualized support for selected Startour’s students and their families, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and guidance. Each family participating in this project will be assigned a team of dedicated therapists who will provide individualized training at Startour Hospital, along with monthly consultations and oversight from AP. This comprehensive support system is designed to help families and the dedicated teams implement effective intervention strategies and monitor each child’s progress over time.

Key components of this ongoing support include:
