Complimentary 2-Day AP Method® Training Program
Give Your Child the Opportunity to Experience the AP Method®
Every child learns differently.
At Autism Partnership (AP), we believe effective intervention begins with understanding how each child learns. That means observing, analyzing, and adjusting teaching to match each child’s strengths, needs, and learning style.
We are inviting children with autism or suspected autism to take part in a complimentary two-day AP Method® (APM®) Training Program. During the program, our clinical team will work one-on-one with your child through individualized teaching activities.
This is also an opportunity for families to gain a deeper understanding of their child’s learning strengths and needs while experiencing AP’s individualized teaching approach firsthand.
With parental consent, the 2-Day training session will also be recorded and later used as educational case examples in the AP Method® Progressive ABA Workshop.
Our goal is to share our clinical teaching approaches to parents and professionals.
Highlights
Individualized One-on-One Teaching
Over two consecutive days, your child will work individually with AP’s experienced clinical team through structured activities and natural interactions.
Our clinical team will observe how your child learns across areas such as:
- Communication and language
- Play and social interaction
- Attention and cooperation
- Learning readiness
- Emotional and behavioural regulation
- Flexibility and adaptability
A Better Understanding of Your Child’s Learning Profile
Throughout the program, our team will observe how your child responds to different teaching approaches and identify factors that may affect learning, such as motivation, attention, communication, and readiness.
Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, we adjust teaching based on your child’s responses. This helps us better understand how your child learns most effectively.
Parent Consultation and Clinical Guidance
At the end of the program, families will meet with an AP Consultant to discuss:
- Your child’s strengths
- Areas that may need further support
- Key observations from the two days
- General recommendations for future learning priorities
- Practical ideas for supporting learning at home
An Opportunity to Learn Beyond the Two Days
With your consent, the teaching sessions will be professionally recorded for educational use during the AP Method® Progressive ABA Workshop.
The workshop will explain the clinical thinking behind the teaching, including why strategies were chosen, how therapists responded, and how individualized teaching supports meaningful learning.
